Cost of a 1031 Exchange with TCEC

Flat Fees

The fee to set up your exchange and close the selling (relinquished) leg is a flat fee of $1,150.00. For each replacement property you purchase, there is a fee of $350.00. On a simple exchange involving the sale of one property and its replacement with one other, our clients will pay a flat fee of $1,500.00, including $50.00 for estimated disbursements. TCEC reserves the right to charge on an hourly basis for more complex transactions and based on the exchange party’s intent, we will inform you at the outset as to whether the transaction will be a simple (routine) or a complex exchange. Reverse and “Build to Suit” exchanges are complex and are separately priced due to the varied services and complexities involved.
